- They discuss proper antibiotic prescribing regularly in staff meetings.
Public Education
In your community, do you know . . .
- If people feel comfortable talking to their doctors or nurses about questions or concerns that they have?
- If when there is a health fair, is there anyone who will provide resources on appropriate antibiotic use?
- If a parent wanted to find information about handwashing or how to manage common infections, they would know where to look?
- If there is a Community Health Representative who has resources to support community education on appropriate antibiotic use?
- If people aware of what antibiotic resistance is, and why it is dangerous?
